“Love emanates through me, held in clarity and generosity”
ROSES, ROSES, ROSES, ROSES! This is what has been on my mind lately. Four roses for the four different preparations of rose that went into each bottle: rose infused vodka, rose infused honey, rose flower essence and culinary rose water. These four variations work together as an elixir to carry the spectrum of this precious flower’s medicine.
The rose flower essence included is newly crafted and I’m obsessed! When I was collecting the roses for this essence, I had the sweet experience of clipping off a rose, and before I could place it into the water a little bee decided to pollinate it. I held the rose for her while she finished her business and then added the newly blessed rose into the essence bowl.
Roses are one of the most universally recognized and beloved plants on Earth, found in myth, medicine, poetry, and perfume across nearly every culture. Their sensuous petals, intoxicating scent, and sweet, subtle flavor evoke beauty, tenderness, and desire. Yet roses are not just their softness; their sharp thorns remind us that reality has an edge, that boundaries have their place. Both in the wild and in cultivated gardens, roses will grow as a hedge, a way to delineate space, offering both invitation and protection.
The phrase “stop and smell the roses” exists for a reason! Roses attune us to the joy of embodiment, the pleasure of presence, the sweetness that lives right here, if we only pause long enough to notice.
Take a few drops of ROSES, ROSES, ROSES, ROSES! on the tongue or in a glass of water to welcome sweetness, open-heartedness, and effortless ease into your day. I’ve been putting a little bit of this into my cup of coffee - if you’ve never tried rose with coffee it might sound like a strange combo but I find the sweetness of rose to pair very nicely with the bitterness of the coffee.
