This rare essence was made from a single bloom from my personal Aztekium ritterii cactus - a plant I’ve lived alongside for over eight years. In all that time, it’s only flowered once - during a Full Moon in Pisces. The flowers opened for just two days. I created this essence from that special bloom. Instead of the traditional solar infused essence, I left this one out to bask in the glow of the full moon surrounded by large pieces of black tourmaline, amethyst, clear quartz, and rose quartz.

Aztekium offers support for those working in liminal, intuitive, or visionary spaces. It’s particularly well suited for times when we must make contact with what lies beneath the surface. This is what I would call a “shamanic” essence, best for supporting sincere inner voyaging, tending to deep-seated traumas, and a return to clarity after emotional fragmentation.

I also find it useful for “catching the big fish.” As David Lynch says:

In Mexico, Aztekium ritterii it is called “Peyotillo.” However, even though the cactus contains mescaline, there have been no ethnobotanical reports which state that it was ever been used by natives.
